Waiting on the Shore

Waiting on the Shore
Rosses Point, Sligo, Republic of Ireland

This is not just a monument to those who lost their lives at sea. This is a monument to those who waited. Waited for the departed sailors and fishermen to return. Waited for their fathers, brothers, husbands, sons. Countless lives taken by the sea. And countless lives spent bereaved on shore.

I’m not sure exactly why but this site is loading extremely
slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end?
I’ll check back later and see if the proiblem still exists.

      Hi Christopher!

I’m sorry the site is loading slowly for you. I’ve not heard of anyone else having this problem.

Hope every thing’s sorted now, though.

Take care, and thanks for visiting!
